Description Ian Neal 2011-12-19 19:40:32 UTC
Version: git master (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

Using a self compiled version of kmymoney on Fedora 16 x64 running Gnome3.1 with compiz.
When trying to navigate around kmymoney where the cursor clicks can be different to where it points. For example double clicking in a split transaction brings up the transaction on the line below.
Switching to a different app and back again usually resolves the issue.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Use any of the widgets (menus appear to be unaffected).

Actual Results:
Clicks happen in a different place to where the cursor points.

Expected Results:
Clicks happen where the cursor is pointing.

Workaround is to switch to another app and then back to kmymoney.

And why do you think that this is a bug in KMyMoney? AFAIK we don't use the click point to make any computation. We obtain all triggers trough the KDE/Qt platform so this must be a problem somewhere underneath in the software stack.

This definitely can't be an issue with KMyMoney. It seems more like a platform issue.
