Translate problem. Report this bug to german i18n team please. How, can they be cc'ed? (In reply to comment #1) > Translate problem. I doubt that, the german translation for 4.7.4 has no untranslated messages "Drafts", "Sent" or "Templates". I guess it is either an OTT (On Time Translation), missing string extraction or missing catalog loading. (In reply to comment #3) > How, can they be cc'ed? Add CC kde-i18n-de@kde.org - the default assignee for Product i18n and Component de. But that does not make much sence, see my comment #4 @ m.wege@web.de: Where exactly do you see which untranslated strings? Were these strings translated before your update? Did you change your locale during the update? 1. In the folder list, the folders namend do not have translation. 2. Yes, but I did not have Kmail2 running on that system. I switched from Kubuntu Natty with KDE 4.7.2 (but with old Kmail1) directly to Oneric with Kmail 4.7.2 3. No. (In reply to comment #6) > 1. In the folder list, the folders namend do not have translation. So you have: Local Folders, outbox, sent-mail, trash, draft, template, inbox untranslated? No, I have an Account "Local Folders". There every subfolder (Trash, Outbox and so on ) appears correctly translated. Then I have an IMAP-account where Inbox is correctly translated, Drafts, Sent and Templates do not. Trash I can not tell, since I can not set my trash folder due to another bug. (In reply to comment #8) I still don't know the exact spelling of your untranslated folder names (e.g. Outbox or outbox), please provide a screenshot. Thanks Created attachment 67150 [details]

Here the screenshot. The problem may not be limited to German, but rather to detecting the folders for turning the localisation on. Trash may also be affected, but at the moment I can not mark the Trash-folder to be the Trash-folder.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
