- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Trying to move the globe for searching the right location. Crashes every time. Marble alone is usable without any crash. Seems only to crash within digikam.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Nepomuk crashes several times a day...

I had the same issues on openSUSE 12.1 x86_64: if openstreetmap or atlas map were used inside the map pane of digikam, dk crashed almost immediately. When I switched the map pane to google maps, it did not crash. After upgrading to NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.09 (current beta), both openstreetmap and atlas map work stable. This bug might also be related to: 288775 - crashed when pressing buttin in the right-table control thing for map view 271690 - digikam crash when selecting an area on map 289206 - digikam crash open map 185290 - crash when quickly changing GPS tagged images using geolocation unfortunately the beta NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.09 does have some severe issues, e.g. http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=171226 So I'm back on NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-290.10 (and google maps...) I can confirm this on a current archlinux 64 bit. |
