Description Fran Rodriguez 2011-12-10 06:18:20 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: MS Windows

After installing the 0.7.2 version of Quassel, the 0.9.9-5 installer does not create any shortcuts for it. The binary version is both installed and available, but having to manually create the shortcut is somewhat inconvenient.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Installed latest Quassel version on package manager mode.

Actual Results:
Quassel installs correctly, but start menu shortcuts are nowhere to be found.

Expected Results:
The Quassel shortcuts should appear on the KDE Start menu.

I'm on WinXP SP3, using the 0.9.9-5 installer and the columbia.edu mirror.

Not only that, but Quassel doesn't even show up in the package list when the installer is run again. KDEWin appears to deny Quassel's existence, once installed.

KDE 4.7 is outdated
