*** Bug 290136 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Again, as with 287514, I'm not able to confirm it. In my recent attempts with kmail 5.3.0 (fedora 24), it took literally minutes to get the list of messages in the INBOX synced (and, indeed, progress bar was slowly progressing, yet I had not enough patience to wait for the list of messages to pop up)... Hence, please, close this one too as "unconfirmed" or "not reproducible". Being a KDE fan since versions 1.X, I'm looking forward to improvements to akonadi scalability/performance so that I could get back to use kmail again one day. with very best regards, Piotr Piotr, sad to hear that you had to migrate away from KDE PIM. I'll keep your reports open till December as announced, just in case someone else is able to reproduce them for a recent version. Thanks for reporting back. Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input. |
