which is why applications (like chromium) should not be trying to provide their own window decorations. client side decorations are fundamentally broken by design. That is a valid point. Still, why is this a problem for activities, but not for virtual desktops? Also, just because a problem is not supposed to exist in the first place, doesn't mean it's a good idea to not deal with that problem when it appears.... we are not going to work around the broken behaviour of apps that intentionally work around the system. btw, in 4.9 the tasks widget will have an activities menu (and share like connect should also hopefully gain window-adding support by then) |
