This bug looks related to bug 287630 Not related, the backtrace is different (this one crashes in memory allocator, the other one in sane_dll_exit). Thanks Christoph, I was just about to comment on this :) Thanks for the report. The backtrace indicates that Skanlite(libksane) tries to allocate almost 430 MB for the image. I'm not sure why it would cause a crash, but we can check if that is the case by scanning again, but this time limit the scan area to something smaller that the whole scan area. I tried with my Epson scanner to scan full page with 2400 DPI, but got no problems... /Kåre Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
