Please try again with the newest from branch 4.8 (or trunk). I might have just fixed that today. I'm running Kubuntu 11.10 with the 4.8.2 PPA and I've been getting this bug ever since 4.8. I can reproduce this every time by plugging in or pulling out my Logitech Clearchat USB headphones. Kmix crashes, I restart it and it's fine again. Quite likely a duplicate bug report. I will merge those bug reports later. As for me, the issue is gone for KDE 4.8.4 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 292219 *** |
