I clicked on a message and instead of displaying the content, kmail crashed.  The data is stored in mbox format.  Removing the indexes (.*.index and .*.index.ids) for the folder and trying again did not correct the problem.

Is there fsck equivalent for mbox folders?

This is with a fully updated Fedora 15, 64bit

The crash can be reproduced every time.
