Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

After initial install of openSuSE 12.1 with kde 4.7.2, ldif addressbook file was imported from prior version of Kontact. After this, when in the contacts section, attempted to create a new address book by opening "file" menu and selecting "new" and then "address book". This brought up a new address book dialog box with several choices and a "search" field but no field to enter a unique new address book name. Further, online help (F1) makes no reference to how to add a new address book.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Install Kontact during OS installation.
Open Kontact and import ldif from prior version.
Attempt tp create new address book as stated above.
Unable to create new address book.

Actual Results:
Unable to create new address book.

Expected Results:
New address book created in addition to "Personal Contacts"

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.1.0-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Problem resolved with help from Thomas Olsen regarding how to create address book.

This information should be included in the online help section:

You have to select a resource type and then configure it. If you want a new
address book you can select VCard Directory, select the folder you want to
contain the address book (you can create a new folder from the dialog) and
click OK.
It will then have a name like 'akonadi_vcarddir_resource_0'. Right click on
the new resource, select 'Folder properties' and change the name.

Or select VCard File, select to the folder where you want the address book to
reside, enter the *file name* of the address book eg. 'addressbook.vcf' (can be
a non-existent file), click OK and enter Display name.
