Even though the "tick box" stating "Automatic Spellchecking" in the "Options" menu is ticked/chosen spellchecking will not work unless you first go to menu "Settings", choose "Spellchecker" and in the popup window tick "Automatic spell checking enabled by default"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
untick "automatic spell checking enabled by default" from menu Settings. Tick box "Automatic spellchecking" on Tools menu. Type some gibberish in composer window

Actual Results:  
no spellchecking

Expected Results:  
spellchecking enabled in the composer windows
