Description João Vidal da Silva 2011-11-21 14:34:41 UTC
Version:           4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS:                Linux

When awaking from sleep the computer reboots.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Kicker Menu -> Leave -> Sleep
2. Press CTRL or the power button to awake the computer.

Actual Results:
The computer reboots.

Expected Results:
It's suppose to present the login screen.

The only thing I can see in the awaking process is the message:
«Stopping automatic crash report generation: Fail»

This happens on a Asus EEE 1001P.

Wow, now that is weird. Do you have in your power management configuration some automatic actions (any of them) which are triggering a reboot? If that's not the case, I think this is going to be hell to triage.

No automatic actions apart from 'Lock screen on resume'.
Is there any script or service I can run to trace this?
Comment 3 João Vidal da Silva 2011-12-06 09:32:23 UTC
It's not always reproducible and there are other aspects to the behavior at awake that should perhaps justify a new bug report.
