Just fixed timeout handling and other issues; please try again with KDE SC 4.8 once it's released. Dear reporter, thank you for reporting your issue. It is related to an ancient version of KMail which uses Nepomuk. Does this issue still exist with KMail from KDEPIM 4.14 and Akonadi 1.13? If you can try with most recent versions of these.
