Description Jürgen Richtsfeld 2011-11-13 08:44:09 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

I'm using kubuntu with the kde ppa.
I've US and german keyboard layout installed. when i switch from german to US using meta-ctrl-k this works as it always did before. switching back doesn't work anymore but this always worked before (since I'm using kde).

the interesting thing I found is that the switcher app in the tray shows a new line only consisting of 2 short dashes and a long dash.
so what I see is
US
-- -
<separatorline>
German

I'm not sure but I didn't notice the -- - and the separator earlier.

I already removed german and re-added it, also the same for the US layout. neither did help.
I also changed the hotkey for layout switching but then the behavior is the same.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
see details

Expected Results:
keyboard layout switching should work as before.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-13-generic
Compiler: gcc
