Checking the Cardinal Points on the Ground, it goes from NE to E to SE and S.

South West, West, North West and North are missing

Reproducible: Didn't try

I cannot confirm this bug - South West, West, North West and North are all present using version 2.0.0, KDE 4.7.3, Kubuntu 11.10.

I confirm this bug. SW, W, NW, and N are replaced by NE, E, SE, and S in gnomonic (default) projection. Other projections show directions correctly. Kstars-4.6.5, KDE 4.6.5, Fedora-15-x86_64.

It seems bug disappeared at some point between 4.6 and 4.7. Since we don't know what caused it I don't close bug yet
