Description Fabio Rossi 2011-11-05 19:08:58 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.3)
OS: Linux

I'm using kmail2 import procedure (kmail maildir and folder structure). When I have to choose the folder to import to, I create a new folder but the folder tree is not updated so the new folder is not selectable. Moreover if I cancel the procedure the main folder tree is kmail2 is neither updated until next restart of the application (i.e. the folder is successfully created but not visible).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) select import procedure for kmail maildir format
2) when selecting the destination folder to import to create a new folder
3) the new folder is not selectable

Actual Results:
the new folder is not selectable

Expected Results:
the new folder should be visible and selectable

not selectable or not visible ?
Comment 2 Fabio Rossi 2011-11-07 20:26:32 UTC
not selectable because not visible in the folder tree after creation (during the import wizard).

If you create the folder and cancel the wizard, then the folder is visible in the folder tree during a new import wizard procedure. The new created folder is not visible until the import wizard ends successfully or kmail2 is restarted

I close this bug for now, after having restarted kmail/akonadi config from scratch it seems working right now.
