Version:           4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2) 
OS:                Linux

On startup without kmail akonadi begins to poll emails. 

This produces a lot of unwanted traffic.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
newstart


Expected Results:  
poll only with the frontend, here kmail

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-13-generic
Compiler: gcc

do you shutdown account when you close kmail ?
configuration->account->"shutdown to close" ?

Very nice idea to close this Bug.

So can I delete the last KDE-Installation in my office.

I do this with one crying and one laughing eye.

If you care about KDE, what about simply answering the question you were asked months ago ?
