Graphic glitch while you're dragging an icon |
I was able to reproduce the bug Confirmed with KDE 4.7.4 by CodeIn student. Created attachment 68284 [details]
Graphic glitch while you're dragging an icon
Graphic glitch that occurs every time I drag an icon in my folder view desktop.
I have a similar issue. When I'm dragging an icon in my folder view desktop there is some kind of graphic glitch, there's no transparency anymore but a solid ugly color instead. I'm now running Arch linux with kde 4.8.0 but it was happening in kde 4.7 (4.7.4) too. By the way, I also have an Intel graphic card. PS: I've attached a screenshot of how the icon looks while I'm dragging it. Mauro, on KDE 4.8 the glitch now looks like that for me too. Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding! Created attachment 65094 [details] what the glitch looks like Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2) OS: Linux When the desktop is set to "Desktop Icons" from the Activity Manager on the taskbar, dragging an icon creates a little visual glitch (two white lines on top and bottom). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Set desktop mode to "Desktop Icons" from the activity manager and drag an icon. While lines appear around the icon. Actual Results: The glitch described above. Expected Results: It should not display white lines. I am using Intel integrated graphics. This happens on every distro I've used with KDE so it is not an Arch specific problem.
