Description Steffen Michalek 2011-10-30 17:55:09 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

Having a friend called "Cécile", written with french special character "é",
which is a contact in the addressbook,
her birthday is not displayed in KOrganizer,
while a duplicate of this addressbook entry, written "Cecile" is displayed
normally.

May be, different character representations cause problems?

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
changed the second entry "Cecile" to "Cécile" -> displayed

Re-wrote the first two letters in the first entry "Cécile"
-> now the behaviour changed and the birthday is displayed why ??

Expected Results:
every birthday should be displayed in KOrganizer,
whatever character is used to write the concerning name

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0.0-12-generic
Compiler: gcc
