Description Yngve Levinsen 2011-10-24 10:41:16 UTC
Version: 4.0.0 (using KDE 4.7.2)
OS: Linux

I have some very long lines in some of my text files, and it would be nice to have a toggle in the settings to turn on/off word wrap.

On a general note, the "gitk" tool has some very nice features for viewing diffs between revisions. You might pick up a few tricks there. As an example, the "Color words" is something I find extremely useful. It's perhaps a bad example for Kompare though, since the different characters are shown in bold which is nearly as fast to browse. Still, have a look and perhaps you get some ideas to make Kompare even better..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a diff where some of the lines are long.

Actual Results:
Have to scroll horizontally which does not provide a good overview.

Expected Results:
A toggle to turn on dynamic word wrap, similar to Kate.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 3.0-ARCH
Compiler: gcc

Ah yes, it clearly is. Sorry, I did not find that one the first time. I mark this as duplicate then.
