Picture of KOrganizer, where buttons cannot be pressed

Version:           4.7 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS:                Linux

I am unable to make new events or appointments or import calendars. The buttons for "New Event", "New To Do" and "New Journal" are blanked out (cannot click them). Same with right mouse click in month view. Importing calendar (.ics) has no effect, tried with 3 different files and nothing happened.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open KOrganizer, try to import calendars or add events

Actual Results:
Nothing.

Expected Results:
Should be able to make new events and import calendar files.

OS: Linux (i686) release 3.0.0-12-generic-pae
Compiler: gcc

Select it first.
Settings->Sidebar->Show Calendar Manager
