Description Gabriele Tozzi 2011-10-18 08:16:06 UTC
Version: 1.7 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

Hello,

since the upgrade to ubuntu oneric,

when i try to open a samba share with dolphin (ie. pointing to URL smb://172.28.147.254/Extra/), it no longer asks me for username password, providing an "Access denied" message instead (on lower left part of window) and becoming stuck on "loading folder..." (on lower right part of window).

Even providing the username inside the url doesn't change the behavior.

This makes samba support de-facto unusable in KDE and Kubuntu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
As described above.

Actual Results:
Dolphin gets stuck on "loading folder...", non password prompt

Expected Results:
Dolphin asks for username / password.

Cannot reproduce. It works fine for here. Feel free to reopen if the issue is still present in KDE 4.10 or higher.
