Description Daniel Vrátil 2011-10-11 22:53:40 UTC
Version: 4.7.2 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

When Time Tracker module is active in Kontact, the File menu contains following actions:

..
..
Close
Quit
New Task
Quit

Where the last two are most probably the correct ones (following the pattern from KMail, KOrganizer or any other modules) and the first two ones are redundant and should be displayed only when KTimeTracker is run standalone.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start Kontact, switch to Time Tracker module, open menu File.

Actual Results:
The File menu ends with Close, Quit, New Task and Quit actions.

Expected Results:
The File menu should end with only New Task and Quit actions.

Observed in KDE 4.7.2

You name it. Confirmed for latest GIT code.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Closing as unmaintained, since ktimetracker has been dropped in recent versions. Sorry for the noise.
