Created attachment 64356 [details] File to reproduce Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.1) OS: Linux First i thought i never do bug reports anymore because of Martin's bog post, that non-developers should shut up, but ok, i do this one: When opening the attached files kate needs minutes to open it. When opened, kate is unusable because it is unresponsive. Reproducable: Everytime Kubuntu 11.10 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open the attached file. Actual Results: Kate needs minutes to open and gets unresponsive. Expected Results: Kate should open within <10 Seconds and should stay usable.
