I have a very colorfull prompt like this:

PS1='\[\[\e[31m\]\u\[\e[0m\]@\e[32m\]\h\[\e[0m\]:\[\e[34;1m\]\w\[\e[0m\]> '

when I type a line that is too long and requieres to continue on the next line (wrapping) the line usually scrolls up or down for every key that I press making several copies of the same line.

Hi I have been able to reproduce the problem on xterm on a text console on 
gnome-terminal and everywhere this does not seem to be a konsole's bug.
