Description Yakup Turgut 2011-09-23 17:23:45 UTC
Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 4.6.5)
OS: Linux

When I try to copy files to Windows volume, dolphin pops up an information (alert) box saying that "permissions cannot be changed for the file <file>" (Since I am using Turkish translation of KDE, message may not be exactly like this). Although this may not be a problem if you are copying 1 or 2 files, it is big problem when copying 6000~ files. You need to click "OK" for 6000~ times. I think there should be an option to ignore this information box such as "OK for all", "I am aware of the situation" etc.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Copy a folder that contains thousands of files in it to Windows volume.

Actual Results:
Thousands of times information box pops up.

Expected Results:
One information box for all.

It can summarize the results or it can have an option to ignore the information.
