Description Jens Westemeier 2011-09-21 15:28:14 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS: Linux

I'm running Akonadi and DavMail to get access to an external Exchange server for contact and calendar data. I use /usr/bin/akonadiconsole to monitor what's going on.
I can setup an Akonadi resource for CardDav and CalDav and can see that's get filled in akonadiconsole.
After a reboot or a Stop / Start of the Akonadiserver, all entries disappear. The resources are still there but the Password field is empty. DavMail reports a username/password error. It seem that the username / password credentials for the exchange server get lost after stopping the Akonadi server.
I run DavMail as an init5 daemon, so it should be running when starting Akonadi.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Setup Akonadi CardDav / CalDav resource
Reboot

Actual Results:
Akonadi resources are empty after reboot

Expected Results:
Akonadi still syncs with DavMail

Hi Jens,

Thanks for your report. This looks a lot like bug #278420 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278420), that I'm still not able to reproduce. I'll merge both bugs and keep trying to have the same issue.

Cheers,
Grégory
