The following blogpost (it's actually my own blog)

- Click on the feed item "Kubeplayer running on KDE Plasma Active powered ExoPC tablet"

Expected Results:
not crashing ;)

backtrace ?
Comment 2 Robert Riemann 2011-09-12 09:17:06 UTC
I thought about that, of course, but I didn't compile akregator and don't know how to install debugsymbols for opensuse 11.4
Comment 3 Christophe Marin 2011-09-12 10:26:42 UTC
which phonon backend configured by default ? (systemsettings / multimedia / phonon / backend)
Comment 4 Christophe Marin 2011-09-12 10:27:13 UTC
(the debuginfo package is called akregator-debuginfo btw)
Comment 5 Robert Riemann 2011-09-12 11:00:08 UTC
I could NOT reproduce the problem on my Laptop with

Akregator 1.6.6
KDE 4.6.0

using GStreamer Backend. I will try it from my desktop PC again this evening.

Comment 7 Robert Riemann 2011-09-12 16:31:10 UTC
Seems to be related to phonon backend. After switching from xine to gstreamer Akregator doesn't crash anymore.
Comment 8 Christophe Marin 2011-09-12 16:46:07 UTC
Indeed, the xine backend is not supported anymore
