with large collections (25k+) it would be helpful to be able to filter/search using album or artist - something akin to that found in the cover tool

grouping might be interesting also - example: group by years where a line break with the year demarcate the albums produced in that year

Closing as covergrid hasn't worked since Qt4/KDE4 versions and the sources were just removed from git master with https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/amarok/-/commit/6c5a54284d2366ffe8b025a88b241b39e173f2bc . Covergrid was neat; hopefully something similar can be implemented after Qt6 port.
