Version:           4.6 (using KDE 4.6.5)

On my notebook, kde kconf_update seems to fail in its work (although I am not able to tell why). I have my home mounted on encrypted partition, using 'encfs', but the files seems to be OK. May this be a cause?

I just start the computer and log into KDE. Do you want any additional info?

Actual Results:  
~/.kde4/share/apps/kconf_update/log/update.log increases its size, approx. 1MB every 5 minuts.

The  kdeinit4: kconf_update [kdeinit] process cannot be killed as it is still respawned:
