Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
 * Right click on the desktop
 * Select Add widgets
 * See the bar appear
 * See the cursor blink in the search bar
 * Typo something

Actual Results:  
 * Your keypresses are lost

Expected Results:  
 * Keypresses go to the lineedit that has the blinking cursor

This happens in 4.7.1 too but can not set 4.7.1 since bugzilla doesn't show it in the combo yet.

This problem is present in KDE SC 4.6(.5) on FreeBSD 8.2 and in KDE SC 4.7.1 on Archlinux. IMHO, this should be easy to fix.
