I am unable to reproduce this in KDE 4.7.4 on Fedora 16. Files on the desktop are renamed without any problem. Please update to the latest KDE version and if you are still experiencing this bug, feel free to reopen this report with additional information. Thanks! |
Created attachment 63496 [details] Showing error 1 Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux I am using "Activities" and the only activity I use is "Desktop Icons". When I rename a file I get one of two error messages: 1) That the file with the previous name no longer exists - obvious! 2) That I will overwrite the file with the new name - No, I won't. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Activities, Desktop Icons, rename a file on the desktop. Actual Results: File is renamed, but some confused errors shows up. Expected Results: No confused message. See pictures.
