Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: MS Windows

My antivirus (Avira free) detected a virus in libkdewin.dll
The virus detected was TR/Spy.Gen, when installing some KDE apps using the installer available in windows.kde.org
The version used was MinGW4 32-bit. The MSVC2010 version doesn't show this bug.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just install some apps with MINGW 32-bit version

Actual Results:
Avira detects a virus in libkdewin.dll during install

Expected Results:
No virus detection.

This is something we cannot influence from our side I am afraid. The packages are uploaded from our build server to our winkde.org main mirror and md5/sha1 checksums are generated & checked after upload. I checked that all packages passed that test on the main mirror. If you haven't received a checksum error on download, your packages very likely haven't been compromised (if you trust us) and thus there is no virus in it and avira's error is a false positive.

If I remember correctly, I had this error as well when using Avira, even when using self-built kdewin.dll's. I rather moved away from using Avira though ;-).
