This has been addressed in the development version a while back: On the "Away" tab of the Identity settings you can now specify the default away message that global away will use, as well as /away without a parameter, and so on. (Another tip: /aaway sets all connections to away.) My bad, I _TOTALLY_ forgot about the /aaway alias... I am so sorry, I didn't find anything about this, that's why I filed this enhancement request... Though I cannot find any message to input, in the Away tab in Identities. I can only set up a custom nickname while away, a message to display when I go away (as if I write it) and a message to display when I am back (as if I write it) And there is no option to set up the default message appearing in the /whois (NOT a message who would be written as if one wrote it, but the reason of the away, shown in /whois) Created attachment 63221 [details]
Away tab of the Identity settings
Please note that you're using 1.3.1 and I was referring to the development version, i.e. the "Default away message" field on the Away tab will show up in the next release or when you build the development version yourself. I've attached a screenshot here.
