Description tim blechmann 2011-08-26 18:11:03 UTC
Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

since yesterday, i am not able to send any email via smpt any more. `send queued messages' does nothing. changing the encryption mode does not have any effect, nor does toggling the `store smtp password'.

kmail1 (on my laptop) nicely sends the emails.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
try to send a mail

Actual Results:
mail stays in outbox

Expected Results:
mail is delivered

it could be related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=275736.

however killing the akonadi mail dispatcher does not change the behavior any more.

using sendmail (via msmtp) instead of smtp doesn't fix his issue, either
