No other programs were running. (Makes no difference when Firefox and Thunderbird are running)
From the gnome-desktop start Kstars.
The splash-screen comes visable, Texts change rapidly in the upperleft corner, of the splash-screen. Then Kstars quits with "Segmentation fault (11)".

I removed "fglrx64_xpic_SUSE114 - X Window display driver for the ATI graphics accelerators V8.861-1" from my configuration.
Then the XStars starts normal.
Also programs like Stellarium and Google-Earth now work.
