Description Diedrich Ehlerding 2011-08-23 18:53:44 UTC
Version: 4.4 pre (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

If an article shall be posted only into one single newsgroup, knode adds a superfluous header line "Followup-To" containing that very same newsgroup. However, in thios case, the Followup-To header line should be omitted. Previous versions of knode (0.9.x, 0.10.x ) didnt contain that bug.

This is not only cosmetic; it is a violation of RFC 5336 stating
| [...] The
| Followup-To header field SHOULD NOT appear in a message, unless its
| content is different from the content of the Newsgroups header field.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
post an article into just one single group

Expected Results:
omit the Followup-To header line if only one newsgroup is affected

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
