(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE 2.2.0 alpha2)
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010319 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.5
OS/Compiler notes:

Messages in Kmail are deleted after all are downloaded. Outlok makes it on the fly. This has realy advantages if my connection gets killed. That happens often due some mails (???) then i have to delete it manually on the server and it is nearly impossible to find the mail because its not the last one due kmail hasn't deleted any msgs.

Can i enable that somewhere?

cheers
Raffaele

That can't help because the mails are only really deleted when the
connection is shut down properly.

As long as only the connection get killed and not KMail it should also not
download the same messages again at least if your servers support UIDs
which nearly all server do.
