Every one in two or three times I shut down my PC from a running KDE session (either via k-menu or applet in the task bar), KOrganizer crashes. The shutdown then does not take place as the crash wizard (the one I'm using now ;) "blocks".

I haven't investigated the issue further. All I can say it happens frequently after using the PC "in a normal way".

If you need more info or require me to do some tests just give a shout.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Two more pieces of information I forgot in the initial posting.

When the crash happens, the session itself is almost closed, i.e. the windowmanager has already stopped, the screen is black.

This crash happens since I upgraded from KDE 4.6 that ships with opensuse 11.4 to 4.7 from the "KDE:/Release:/47" repository.

Do you have to-do view active, when you close korg ?

Can you install debug symbols for korganizer?

Hi Sergio,

yes, the to-do view is active.

I checked the repository, but it only provides debug symbols for QT libraries, not for the KDE packages :-(

I experience the same with kde 4.7.2 on kubuntu 11.10. Will try to provide debug message when I see it next time.
