Description Roland Wolters 2011-08-09 14:52:54 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0)
OS: Linux

When I encrypt an e-mail with S/MIME and sent it to several recipients, the recipients report that they are not able to decrypt the e-mail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new e-mail, or answer to an existing one, with several recipients
2. Choose S/MIME, choose to encrypt
3. send, wait for partners to complain

Actual Results:
The e-mail cannot be decrypted by the recipients.

Expected Results:
The e-mail should be decryptable and thus readable as usual.

As a personal note: Kmail always shone in the area of S/MIME, no client came even close to it. It is sad to see that Kmail2 introduced so many S/MIME problems (#279278, #279387, this one) up to a state where it cannot be used anymore :-/

#279387 was already fixed
and 279278 is not critical but will fix soon.
Will look at this bug

Seems to be fixed by now (KMail2 4.7.3).
