in 4.7 as a new user if I remove the Firefox and Dolphin launchers, the ones installed by default, they reappear after I restart KDE

per this forum post http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=96351&p=201489#p201489 the method to truly remove them is to delete from plasma-desktop-appletsrc the lines: 
browser=preferred://browser, , ,\s
filemanager=preferred://filemanager, , ,\s

Steps to Reproduce:
remove default launchers Firefox and Dolphin 

Actual Results:  
launchers reappear

Expected Results:  
launchers no longer appear after removal
