I'd like an option to show the "search output" bar on top of the window.

Actually showing it at bottom causes an ugly earthquake effect on terminal window.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Go to: Scrollback->Search output

Actual Results:  
shows the search bar on the bottom of the window

Expected Results:  
shows the search bar on the TOP of the window (just behind the menu-bar)
