In KDE SC 4.6 and KDE SC 4.7 a bug appeared that causes LTR text
in an RTL environment to appear behind the "Clear" button of KDE
text boxes. This occurs in the Krunner dialogue, Dolphin address
bar, and anywhere else that the "Clear" button is embedded in the
text box. I think that this bug did not exist in KDE <= 4.5.

Note that the problem also appears for RTL text in an LTR environment. Thus, I will use that example to make the bug easier for LTR users to reproduce:

To reproduce in LTR environment:
1) Open Krunner (Alt-F2)
2) Paste this text: שגיאה
Note that the text appears behind the "Clear" button.

To reproduce in RTL environment:
1) Open Krunner (Alt-F2)
2) Paste this text: Error
Note that the text appears behind the "Clear" button.

This problem seems gone for me when using KDE 4.8.3 + Qt 4.8.2 .

Still see this with 4.8 (orc) from Debain experiemental snapshots

When pasting Hebrew text into the text fields, it appears correctly. However, actually typing the text in makes it appear behind the Clear button.
