I'm adding an older KMail mockup here for a possible reference -- http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i441/Eugene_M/KMailAccountSettingWizard.png We could probably use something like that too. Assigned to d_ed for the 0.2 release. not done in time. Removing from 0.2 I'm about to work on this in my clone, what accounts would you suggest to have in the most used ones? *Facebook Chat *GTalk *Jabber *Windows Live Messenger Anything else? I would add ICQ to that list because I've heard it's still quite popular in some countries. Maybe IRC as well? ICQ is still heavily used in Czech republic, true that. On the other hand, could the absence of such (rather obscure) protocols and promoting services like Jabber, lead (at least some) users to switch to the better supported one? See https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/103562/ and commit http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=ktp-accounts-kcm.git&a=commitdiff&h=5207551faeae5ef54c55c492f84debb8a2a97374 Todo: Give make the former fist page of the AddAccount Assistant (list of profiles) a nice ui. Done by Florian, closing this. |
