Description Waleed Hamra 2011-07-30 19:31:33 UTC
i usually disable and enable compositing (using SHIFT-ALT-F12 hotkey) a lot, when wanting to play games, or doing some CPU-extensive work (like compiling).
if i happen to enable compositing while the mouse is bouncing with the icon of an application i just started, compositing gets enabled, but the mouse keeps bouncing the icon forever.
i tried it tons of times, always the same thing. i have to pay attention not to rush things, and not enable compositing directly after starting my usual programs.
i can usually cure it, by entering system settings, application and system notifications, launch feedback, set it to "no bouncing cursor", apply, then put it back on bouncing cursor, apply.
