Changing title. Markus, please adopt an acceptable attitude. If you lack ideas how to proceed, read http://www.kde.org/code-of-conduct/ Closing bug report. Submitter can open a new one if he one day changes attitude. Hello, if not for Markus, open this bug for other users please. I have to confirm that this "feature" is really uselless, at least in this form. Is it possible to make option to switch these bars off? I know no KDE user who is pleased with these big qr bars and who needs them on a laptop/desktop. If it's not possible to add the option, is there any option to resize them to acceptable size? Many thanks, Petr Petr: please subscribe to Bug 280191 |
Created attachment 62323 [details] OMG! Teh ugly! Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.0) OS: Linux Since my update to 4.7 KAddressbook displays giant and butt-ugly QR codes. Not only are they incredibly ugly, they also make no sense. Why would one scan them from a display when the data is available in plaintext for copy&paste? Maybe I'm blind but I also couldn't find a way to turn that crap off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open KAddressbook Actual Results: Disgust and eye cancer Expected Results: At the very least scale them down to usual icon size. Or better: Off by default, show them only when the vcard is printed on paper.
