MySQL log (with error messages)
The dialog for Akonadi server settings informed me that errors where found in the MySQL server's log.

Perhaps the root cause is the Akonadi resource definitions? Who knows. I hope one of the developers do...

Akonadi self test report
Ahhh... so much simpler, this compiled everything including the previously attached individual logs...
Crash is fixed in master/4.7.1 Regards (In reply to comment #6) > Crash is fixed in master/4.7.1 > Regards OK, but that's a month away. This was releases as a stable release - will the fix backported to 4.7.0 as an urgent correction? Created attachment 62320 [details]
Trackback (or whatever the correct English) term is from crash handler
Upgraded via Factory repository a number of packages, i.e. Akonadi-related packages and KMail: akonadi, akonadi-runtime, libakonadi4, libakonadiprotocolinternals1, kmail.
Behaviour has not changed. Debug package available in factory allowed me to add this debug information which hopefully will be helpful.
It will not help me because it's fixed and debian didn't update source to 4.7 branch. Wait that it will update please. Unfortunately this is not completely fixed. Kmail crashes if a local resource is available but lacks (a valid) a path. Sorry, wrong bug report. |
