Description Eric Houston 2011-07-26 15:31:49 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

1) The email address should be changed under "Email Preferences". It is currently under "Name and Password".

2) After I changed my email address on bugs.kde.org, I was given the message: "The changes to your name and password have been saved. ". This is inaccurate, as I did not change either my name or password.

The message should say: "The changes to your account preferences have been saved." This would be valid for all submissions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Inaccurate confirmation message after changing email address
1) Load bugs.kde.org
2) Click on "Edit my Preferences"
3) Click on "Name and Password"
4) Enter password
5) Enter new email address

Actual Results:
The system displays the message: "The changes to your name and password have been saved. "

Expected Results:
"The changes to your account preferences have been saved."

I'm closing this issue as won't fix, we are using the bugzilla software, but we try to stay close to the software as it is developed. This issue is not severe enough to deviate from that version and cause troubles on each and every upgrade we will have to.

Hope you understand. You could report this issue at the developers of bugzillla. Thanks a lot for reporting though
