Square root is the inverse of squared, so click "Shift" and see the square root at the x² button.

I just spent 5 minutes looking for the square root button. I even tried holding down various combinations of ctrl- alt- and shift- to see if the buttons would change.

Having to click on "Shift" to see the square root button is not a good user interface.

How about actually pressing the Shift key on the keyboard does the same thing as clicking on the Shift button?

Unfortunately using the Shift button on the keyboard is a no go, it interferes with other keyboard shortcuts (pretty much half of the number row at the top of the keyboard are math operators accessed though the Shift key).

There is in fact a shortcut (though admittedly I'd like to come up with a better one) "Ctrl+2" will trigger the inverse behavior.

I am going to leave this as "WORKSFORME", but please feel free to file a bug for improving the "Shift" shortcut.

Hello,

No square root button for me.
Is it a bug a missing feature ?

Cheers,
Cyril
