Mock-up of screenshot with absolutely no decorations apart from the Ubuntu window borders seen at left and right.

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

Hi,

This is a general wish to reduce impact of the size of these controls/decorations.

And no, I cannot use 'Fullscreen' because with two displays:
1366x768 and
1680x1050
... there is a quadrant of size (1680-1366)x768=314x768 above the smaller screen that is 'invisible'. And anyway, I want *my* local desktop panels to be visible.

Secondly, the screen does not size dynamically on the remote connection the same way that MS Windows Remote Desktop Connection.

To reduce the impact of the size of the controls & decorations, the remote desktop should have the option to open in a *new* second window which does not have *any* decorations: no titlebar, menubar or toolbar at the top and no sidebar or statusbar at the bottom... nothing. Absolutely nothing, just the outer border only.

Secondly, the dynamic sizing capability should be investigated and added. Does anyone know how MS Windows RDC sends this to the remote session?

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
1. Second screen with no KRDC information.
2. Dynamically resizeable, and that this information is passed to remote system.

OK, I've seen where the decorations can be turned off. Still, a better solution is to have a second minimalist window, so the first window becomes more of a control panel rather than the client itself.
